Grabbing a banana as you rush out the door is a perfectly fine breakfast... but let's face it, it's not the most interesting. We can jazz up that humble fruit without costing you valuable time. This Banana Smoothie blends the creamy, tropical treat with milk and yogurt to make it deliciously sippable and refreshing. Add your favorite mix-ins and you can make the perfect smoothie every time! All in just five minutes! Banana Smoothie is great on-the-go when you need something to keep you going!
Ingredients
- 2 medium ripe bananas, room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups ice
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk or nondairy milk
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter, optional
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
- 1-2 tablespoons fresh coconut or toasted coconut, optional
Directions
Step 1 -Break the bananas into pieces and add them to a blender.
Step 2 -Add the ice, the yogurt, the milk, the peanut butter, the vanilla, and the coconut to the banana and blend, stopping and scraping down the sides as necessary, until the smoothie is creamy and frothy.
Step 3 -Serve.
