Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground hamburger
  • 1 pound ground hot sausage
  • 2 pounds processed cheese, such as Velveeta™, cubed
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (16-ounce) jar mild salsa
  • frozen soft pretzel bites, optional, to taste, prepared according to the package directions, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the hamburger and the sausage and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes.

Step 2 -Drain the grease from the skillet.

Step 3 -Add the cheese, the cream of mushroom soup, the salsa, and the cooked meat mixture to a large slow cooker and stir to combine.

Step 4 -Cover and cook on low, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted, about 2-3 hours.

Step 5 -Serve with the soft pretzel bites.
