Everyone knows the best part about baking cookies is that little bit (or a lot of bit) of dough you get to eat off of the spoon before they go into the oven. Edible Cookie Dough ensures that you can have heaping helpings instead of sneaked snacks safely! This treat gives you all the rich, melt-in-your-mouth flavors and textures of chocolate-chip cookie dough that you can eat without any worries. Edible Cookie Dough is the dessert of cookie-dough-lovers’ dreams!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons milk, plus more as needed
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour, heat-treated to kill bacteria
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, mini and semi-sweet
Directions
Step 1 -Combine the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a medium mixing bowl.
Step 2 -Sprinkle evenly with the salt.
Step 3 -Use an electric hand mixer to beat the contents in the bowl together until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Step 4 -Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of milk and the vanilla extract and mix to combine.
Step 5 -Mix the flour in until just combined, careful not to overmix.
Step 6 -If needed, add more milk, 1/2 tablespoon at a time, to thin out the batter.
Step 7 -Carefully fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
Step 8 -Store the cookie dough in the refrigerator.
Step 9 -Serve whenever you want!
