This Microwave Corn on the Cob is perfect to make in a pinch when you don't have quite enough time to fire up the grill or boil your corn on the cob. In 5 short minutes, you can have a delicious and perfectly-cooked side dish to compliment your favorite meal. Pro tip: add all the salt, pepper, and butter you want to make this recipe extra delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 ear of corn, husked and cleaned
- salt, optional
- pepper, optional
- butter, optional
Directions
Step 1 -Wet a clean paper towel entirely with water, then wring it out.
Step 2 -Wrap the husked and cleaned ear of corn in the wet paper towel and place it on a microwave-safe plate.
Step 3 -Cook the corn in the microwave for 5 minutes.
Step 4 -Carefully remove the paper towel from the corn.
Step 5 -Season with your desired mixture of salt, pepper, and butter.
Step 6 -Serve.
