No need to worry about what to make for dessert! No-Fuss Chocolate Pretzel Bars take all the stress away and replace it with a melt-in-your-mouth delight! Creamy peanut butter mixes with rich chocolate and salty pretzels for a dream combo of sweet and salty that your taste buds won't soon forget! The only fuss with No-Fuss Chocolate Pretzel Bars comes from remembering to share... we can't blame you for wanting to hoard these for yourself!
Ingredients
- 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups pretzels twists, finely crushed, plus more, to taste, whole, for garnish
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/4 cups creamy peanut butter, divided
- 1 1/2 cups milk or semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Step 1 -Line a 9×13-inch pan with foil and spray it with cooking spray.
Step 2 -In a large bowl, add the melted butter, 2 cups of the crushed pretzels, the powdered sugar, and 1 cup of the peanut butter and using your clean hands or a spatula, mix until combined.
Step 3 -Press the pretzel mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
Step 4 -In a microwave-safe bowl, add the remaining peanut butter and the chocolate chips and microwave on high heat in 30-second increments, stirring after each increment, until it is melted and smooth.
Step 5 -Pour the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the pretzel mixture and spread it out with a spatula.
Step 6 -Chill the pan until the pretzel mixture is set for at least 1 hour.
Step 7 -Garnish with the whole pretzels.
Step 8 -Slice and serve.
