Whether it's a Taco Tuesday enjoyed at home or a taco party with all of your friends and family, Taco Crackers are exactly the snack you need to get ready for Tex-Mex amazement! Each of these crispy crackers are coated in zesty, spicy, tantalizing spices — it's a dose of borderlands flavors that gets you revved up for more! The question isn't whether you'll love Taco Crackers... it's whether you'll stop snacking on them when dinnertime rolls around!
Ingredients
- 2 (10-ounce) packages oyster crackers
- 3/4 cup canola oil
- 1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
Step 2 -In a large bowl, add the crackers.
Step 3 -In a separate bowl, add the canola oil, the taco seasoning, the garlic powder, the oregano, and the chili powder and whisk to combine.
Step 4 -Add the seasoning mixture to the crackers and toss to combine and completely coat.
Step 5 -On two large baking sheets, evenly spread out the crackers.
Step 6 -Bake the crackers, stirring them halfway through, until they are fragrant and the seasonings fully adhere to the crackers, about 20 minutes.
Step 7 -Allow the crackers to cool.
Step 8 -Serve.
